Watch Cap

I am knitting a cap for my grandson in the Army. He will be deployed in March for Afghanistan but right now is in Alaska. He said it is freezing cold there. This weekend he went snowboarding. It is hard to imagine because here in Southern California the weather has been 80 degrees.

Here is the partially finished cap I am making him. I am waiting for the double point needles I ordered on Ebay to arrive so I can do the decreases. The yarn is by Cascade Yarns and the color is called Greenland. It is 100% Merino Superwash.

  1. Looks like this hat will be cozy and stylish !

  2. What a great Grandmother you are....I love being a Grandmother. I get such a high from the kids. Beautiful cap you got going there.

  3. What a great hat for your grandson! I would love to learn how to knit someday! :)

  4. It's looking wonderful Elayne!!!! He's going to have the "sexiest" head in Alaska ;-)

Christopher is in our prayers every day...we wish you all well!

  5. Thank you all for your kind comments
